She has extensive expertise in leading provision for children with Special Educational and Additional Needs (SEND), providing strategic leadership, advocacy, and support to promote inclusive and equitable education. She serves as a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God and is a certified member of the Maxwell Leadership Team and The Teen Coach Academy. Folakemi is also a member of the British Psychological Society. Folakemi is deeply passionate about supporting parents to enjoy their parenting journey while raising confident, resilient, and emotionally healthy children who are well equipped to transition into purposeful, productive, and successful adulthood. She is the Lead Trainer for Futures Coaching and Consult, an organisation that delivers conferences, coaching, and mentoring programmes for parents and teenagers. She also facilitates a summer camp for teenagers and provides consultancy and specialist support for schools and families in the area of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Beyond her professional and ministry work, Folakemi is a creative at heart. She enjoys cooking and hosting, has a keen interest in designing and making clothing for women, and loves reading. She is also a mentor to many young women. Folakemi is married to Clement, and together they are blessed with two amazing adult children.
